The main technical parameters of impregnated diamond core drill bits are diamond specifications, like type, size, concentration and grade, as well as matrix hardness type and crown shapes, which are selected according to the hardness and abrasiveness of the formation to be drilled. If user can make rational selections according to the rock formations, then they can get satisfied drilling performance on various formations with different hardness. 

3. To avoid excessive bit wear, tungsten carbide inserts are used on both sides on the waterway, and gage stones are a bit larger.
